Pearson's APIs aka Plug & Play received a mention in the press last week, this time in the UK's leading resource for new media professionals New Media Age. Continuing under the headline "Pearson Drives API Innovation Through Collaboration", it reads "FT and Penguin owner will attend more hackathons to push development and innovation".
The article further elaborates, quoting Pearson's Head of Future Technologies Diana Stepner "We want to make sure developers are aware that our content is available for them to use and the best way to do that is to be where they are. It allows them to get face time with us and for us to get direct feedback from developers around the types of things they want from our content or API structure perspective."
