Pearson will be performing site upgrades beginning on Wednesday, September 24 at 10:30 PM EDT and ending by Thursday, September 25 at 5:30 AM EDT (25 Sept 2:30 to 9:30 GMT). The PDN site (developer.pearson.com) will be unavailable during this time.

Once this work is complete, you’ll have access to even more content on the PDN.

What’s being done?

As you may already be aware, Pearson maintains a number of separate outlets for APIs. With this work, we will be combining the APIs currently available at developer.pearson.com with those currently available at developer.pearson.com. After the change, the combined APIs will be available through a single platform accessible at developer.pearson.com (you’ll be redirected automatically from developer.pearson.com).

Site navigation and design is also changing to better accommodate the merger of these two communities.

What does this mean for user accounts and API Keys?

  • User and Developer App (API Key) credentials on developer.pearson.com will not be affected.

  • User and Developer App (API Key) credentials on developer.pearson.com will be migrated to the new, combined site. You will have to reset your password the first time you sign in to the new site. For your username, you should enter the email address associated with your developer.pearson.com account.

A message will be posted when the work is completed. You can also follow this blog for updates.
