It's taken a little longer than we'd hope, but we've made a small tweak to the explorer that we hope will be of great use to everyone.
Now, rather than having to type in your API Key, you can select an API key from a dropdown as shown in the dropdown bellow:
Hopefully this will save you some keypresses and flipping between screens.
Please continue to provide feedback through the forum, we give all suggestions serioius consideration :)

Feedback from our first offical hackathon was that we should have a random word generator for the dictionary api... we already, but I had forgotten to add it to the API Explorer !!!

I'd be keen to have feedback, I know the folks who suggested this said it "shouldn't put up a simple word" which isn't currently there, at the same time with over 300,000 words most won't be !
