Welcome to the Pearson API Developers website. Here is how it works in three steps:

Step 1 – Explore Pearson’s APIs.
All of Pearson’s available API content can conveniently be found in the API section of this website. Here you may find documentation, Terms & Conditions, pricing, make test calls, retrieve content, and more!
 
Step 2 - Register
To access Pearson’s content, simply register for an account with valid credentials and activate your free Sandbox API Key by following the instructions sent to your email inbox.
 
Step 3 – Use Pearson’s APIs
Using your API Key, start by making calls to retrieve content from the API of your choice. Then, enhance your application by integrating Pearson's content into your application.

When you are ready to share your application with the world, sign up for a Production Key!
 
How to Apply for a Production Key
While signed into your account, click on Setup an Application under My Apps and select the APIs of your choice along with a price plan. Once your application request has been approved by our team, you are all set to go!

Start by registering for an account by clicking the link on the top right corner. Provide your name, username, valid email address, and any other fields that are applicable to you.

You will receive an automatic confirmation email to validate your account, which will allow you to create your password and proceed to accessing the API content.

If you wish to bring your application to market using Pearson APIs, you will need to apply for a full production key.

Please visit Pearson’s Terms & Conditions along with those specific to each API, all listed under the API section of this website.
 
All approved applications will be displayed in your account in the My APIs section.

If you wish to cancel your subscription or delete your account, you may do so under the My Apps section of your account or by emailing us at api-developer@pearson.com.
